I'm Marco , originally from Italy I grew up with a very different relationship with old things. Back home, there is a real appreciation for keeping, repairing and restoring what we already have. If something is old, worn or a little tired, the first thought isn't always to replace it — it's to see if it can be fixed, refreshed and loved again.

That mentality has stayed with me and became part of the inspiration behind SC Furnishings Studio.

I've always loved the character and craftsmanship found in older furniture. A scratched surface, an outdated colour or years of wear don't mean that a piece has reached the end of its life. Often, underneath it all, there's a beautifully made piece of furniture just waiting for a new chapter.

At SC Furnishings Studio, we carefully restore, refinish and reimagine furniture, combining the quality and character of existing pieces with contemporary colours, finishes and details. Every piece is thoughtfully worked on by hand, creating something individual rather than mass-produced.

For me, upcycling is also about respecting what we already have. It's a philosophy that reminds me of home: buy well, look after things, repair what you can and don't throw something away simply because it's old.
